What Is that Mayor Lady Doing?

nick_valentine_by_rosslaye-d9hqaz1Something isn’t right! I have been in to see the mayor of Montesano about three times a week for the last month.   She is NEVER there. Now I know that the lady runs a business where she is all up in everyone’s trouble but isn’t being the mayor a business?

That young feller they hired just doesn’t seem to do much but talk to the employees  the , fire chief, police chief , talk on his phone, work on his other contract business. (Why should he contract with other companies when he is getting paid so much?)   Just cause he can doesn’t mean he should. Neither him nor the office people know where the Mayor is.  I just want to ask about how much that free WiFi is going to cost me when Mr. Rich backs out, why she spent so much more money getting that boy to run the city, why she is buying forest land when she can’t afford  clerks, why she wants to use her state connections to build that park and ride and then be left holding the costly maintenance bag, develop parks when the city is so broke, but hey she is never in her office.

I think by the time we pay for that forest land and then she dumps the wifi on us, and the park and ride, and the soccer fields, that should just about sink us.  Of course she is looking at moving up higher in state government so she won’t be here but us long-time, fixed income residents will be eating dog food to pay for her schemes.

It looks to me like the city council should maybe check on who is really running the city, why the city manager is working for other people while sitting at his city desk, someone should check why he brings that apple laptop to work when the city don’t use them apples,   why they are committing us to pay for these wants of hers, and why no one is trying to rein her in.

Looks like the city residents jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire when they elected her.

Rumor Has It.

Apparently you can now go to Montesano and get a pass on Driving Under Influence (DUI).  This new information came from an extremely reliable insider.  He said that “it requires too much paperwork to process DUI’s and it just isn’t worth our time.” Mayberry you are so predictable.  So, drink up and drive freely no one is going to stop you.  Too much work.

DUI
DRINK UP MONTE!

Transparency Vini? NOT!

Mayor Vini Samuels, wannabe councilmen and women mercilessly mocked  Ken Estes and the sale of the river front property to a local developer.  They never let up, provided false videos, editorials, even put a puppet on council to continue their mockery, they kicked him out of office, but wait…

Ms. Vini Mayor comes along and knows in advance that a major employer is leaving Montesano. Does she say anything?  Nope.  She spends her time redecorating when she isn’t manipulating the editor of the Vidette.  She often states that she plans on keeping the press her “best friend.” Clearly, not a new practice for this  lady.

After the City put so much money into protecting that land did the new mayor do anything to try and keep the mill? What will she do with all that land?  (She has ideas, wait till you hear them.) Were any meetings held?  Will the citizens ever know the truth, or should we just swallow the loss of a hundred family wage jobs?  Wow Vini, in your unsuccessful effort to paint sunshine and blow rainbows, what color will you paint this one?

Exacerbated Influenza

4780572510_71006e3b72_oWhat the holy heck is going on at Montesano City Hall?  I have been sick and yet I knew that my water bill must be paid.  Unknowingly, I struggled into the Montesano water office and glanced up.  My mistake. The bile rose in my throat, I could not speak, the entire wall in my vision was a ghastly shade of putrid moss covered bilge.

I thought I felt crappy before paying my water bill. How much money is this Democratic re-decorating binge costing taxpayers? Is a tasteless, classless spendthrift  running our city?

QUESTIONS FOR MAYOR SAMUEL

Piggy BankDuring the election Mr. Dan Wood was very vocal about many subjects, and after watching the two of you at council meeting it appears that he is your second chair.  I did notice that when you were speaking, he got up and went into the audience to speak with someone else I thought that was very rude. (I am surprised that you would allow that.)

However, back to the reason for my question: Should he be paid for the meetings that he takes off?  Apparently he is going to miss the next meeting and rumor has it that Ms. King will be absent for many meetings.  Should we the taxpayers pay council members that were elected as a “voice for change” for their seemingly lack of interest in the position?   I think not!

ISN’T IT AMAZING?

Isn’t it amazing that after all this time the candidate that ran and LOST against Mayor Ken Estes 4 years ago cannot get over it.   We will call him Doug the CFO. The Mayor won by 70%= You lost buddy-GET OVER IT. Today special friends of an ex-employee and ex-councilman wannabe Mayor/HATER were dropping buttons all over town mocking the mayor for his loss.  Don’t spend anymore money Doug.  The Mayor did what he said would.  He won the lawsuit!  What have you done?  How sad Montesano!
